R&B Singer LeToya Luckett has slammed claims she was hurt by the lyrics to the Destiny’s child song ?Survivor.? The track features LeToya’s former bandmate Beyonce Knowles singing the stirring lyrics: “You thought that I’d be stressed without you but I’m chillin’ / You thought I wouldn’t sell without you / Sold nine million”. Many believe the lyrics refer to Luckett, who was pushed out of the band in 2000. However, Luckett not only insists she doesn’t know who the song’s about, but says she drew strength from its lyrics. She says, “When I first heard it I didn’t know what it was about. I was feeling Beyonce though, because at that time I was like, well shoot, I’m a survivor. “I’ve been through so many things in my life and I’m blessed to be standing here today. I still don’t actually know who it was about. “I hope no one would have any bad intentions towards me.”
