R&B great Patti LaBelle will help launch the new Chrysler Aspen and raise funds for medical education through her 12-city ?The Gospel According to Patti? tour, which kicks off Saturday, Oct. 7. The U.S. national tour will be paired with pre-concert dates nationwide at which Chrysler will offer test drives of its vehicles to help raise funds for LaBelle’s charity, the University of Pennsylvania’s Abramson Cancer Center. For each test drive taken, Chrysler will give $5 to the University of Pennsylvania’s Abramson Cancer Center, LaBelle’s designated charity, to help educate the African American community about the importance of early medical attention and treatment. The test drive cities are Chicago, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, NY, Landover, MD, Atlanta, Los Angeles and Cleveland. Tickets for the U.S. tour dates are available at pattilabellegospel.com and fans of the 62-year-old singer can watch for her first gospel album which is due for release late November.
