R&B and pop singer Paula DeAnda?s self-titled Arista debut album peaked at No. 54 yesterday (Sept 7th) on the Billboard 200 album charts after its first week of sales. Released on Aug. 29, the 16-year-old Corpus celebrated with a CD release party, mini-concert and signing on the same day at Wal-Mart. The album features the hit single “Doing Too Much” with Baby Bash and the newest release “Walk Away (Remember Me).” After capturing the top spot last week, Justin Timberlake?s “SexyBack” holds its No. 1 title on the Billboard Hot 100 and is the chart`s greatest airplay gainer. The cut also remains atop both the Pop 100 and Hot Digital Songs charts for a second week. Elsewhere on the Hot 100, Fergie`s “London Bridge” sticks to No. 2, Gnarls Barkley`s “Crazy” climbs from 4 to 3 and the Pussycat Dolls` “Buttons” featuring Snoop Dogg jumps from 5 to 4. Nelly Furtado`s “Promiscuous” featuring Timbaland holds at No. 6. Ne-Yo`s “Sexy Love” drops from 9 to 8 on the Hot 100 but rises from 2 to 1 on Hot Ringtones, ending the 14-week run of Koji Kondo`s “Super Mario Brothers Theme,” which falls to No. 2.
