R&B singer Beyonce Knowles has reportedly pulled out of her promotional trip to the UK scheduled for later this month, after British police thwarted a terrorist plot to blow up American jumbo jets. The former Destiny’s Child singer has been told by record label bosses she must stay in the US when new single Deja Vu hits shops, because of the continued threat to people flying across the Atlantic. An insider tells British newspaper the Daily Star, “It’s not a difficult decision to make in the light of the UK going to critical alert status.” “Beyonce’s been told she’s not to come to the country so soon after so many trans-Atlantic flights were threatened.” As Beyoncé’s September 5 B’Day draws nearer, the singer has “Ring the Alarm” set as the second single from her second solo album. The video is scheduled to premiere this month.
