Singer Patti Labelle is terrified about cooking in front of an audience for the new reality TV series Celebrity Cooking Showdown. The singer will compete with other celebrities on the show, created by Diddy, airing between April 17 and 21 of April. But despite having written several cookbooks, including Labelle Cuisine and Patti Labelle’s Lite Cuisine, the singer admits she is nervous about the prospect. She explains, “I’m known for my cooking, but I’m a little intimidated by this show. “I’ll be making upscale soul food. I will not be using any hot sauce, ’cause I don’t know if the judges can take it, and I need to make sure they’re happy.” The soul legend admits performing a concert in front of a live audience is nothing compared to her new task. She adds, “Singing is much easier!”
