Mariah Carey is livin’ large with the success of her latest album – and she’s going to celebrate her comeback by getting married, according to the National Enquirer. The pop beauty recently triumphed at the third annual Vibe awards on November 12, a celebration of hip-hop and R&B that went smoothly after last year’s ceremony was marred by a brawl and stabbing. Carey scooped up four honors including the coveted artist of the year. She also won R&B Voice of the Year, Best R&B Song for “We Belong Together” and the curvy singer also won the album of the year award for her top-selling release The Emancipation Of Mimi. Considered her strongest album since the late ’90s, Mimi debuted in April at number one with the highest first week sales in the singer’s career. Friends say the sexy songstress will walk down the aisle in June 2006 with the man who helped put her career back on track, music executive Mark Sudack.
