As soon as photos of an alleged nude Rihanna made their way to the internet, it was assumed by some that Chris Brown was the culprit. Why? Because Brown was after all the subject of an alleged sex tape with the singer. He also bared striking resemblance to a man photographed in what appeared to be the same hotel room shirtless, sitting on a bed and donning a woman’s undergarments on his head. While he might sound guilty, Brown’s management has confirmed that the embattled “Kiss Kiss” singer was not involved in any form. “This is both a false and defamatory statement. Chris has not released or ‘leaked’ any photos of Rihanna (or anyone else for that matter),” a spokesman for Brown told Essence Saturday. Instead Brown is likely preparing for his next court hearing May 28. As reported on Singersroom, Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos filed a motion earlier this week to review the LAPD’s investigatory records related to Rihanna’s post beating photo. The photo, released by TMZ, has been rumored to be at the center of Brown’s plea deal and possibly the ability to have the case thrown out. In court documents unleashed by Radaronline, Geragos wrote: “In this case specifically, the leaking of a photograph (whether for profit or not) of a complaining witness violates a variety of criminal and regulatory prohibitions. In and of itself these actions would not only constitute demonstratable bias on the part of the involved officers but could potentially be the basis for a Motion to Dismiss Outrageous Governmental Misconduct.” Meanwhile, Rihanna’s team is fighting to have alleged nude photographs of her removed from several websites who chose to post them Friday afternoon.
