Just in time for their debut performance at Coachella, Dj-producer trip Cash Cash taps vibrant soulful singer Abir for their newest gem “Finest Hour.” In addition to the song’s release, Cash Cash has also dropped an accompanying lyric video for their fans.
“Finest Hour” is an upbeat, dance song perfect for festival season. ABIR’s gripping vocals and powerful lyrics, that she penned herself, take the track to the next level. Abir spilled on the writing process with Paper Magazine, “The song came about as I was writing strictly to piano chords instead of beats with finished production,” she described. “I think when you write to a piano or guitar, things naturally become a bit more raw and effortless and it’s easier to say exactly what you’re feeling or thinking.”
Cash Cash has previously collaborated with pop artists like Bebe Rexha, Conor Mayard, ROZES, and Dashboard Confessional and are hitting the festival circuit hard after their ‘Chella debut. Catch them at Electric Zoo, TomorrowWorld, Made In America, Billboard Hot 100 Festival & ULTRA Music Festival.
The song was made to highlight the moments when we feel like we’ve lost control.
“To us ‘Finest Hour’ is about when you lose control at some point when things aren’t working out as planned. Maybe it’s not getting that promotion, or getting fired, or losing someone. This song is about realizing that it’s just not your finest hour and not a true reflection of who you really are. Acknowledging that can help you heal back to the person you truly are and get you back on the path you belong on.”
