R&B sensation NE-YO is giving former AMERICAN IDOL star MARIO VAZQUEZ a career boost by penning his first single. Vazquez quit last season’s American Idol amid rumours he’d signed a deal with rap mogul DIDDY, and now he’s planning on storming the US pop charts with a string of top names. As well as Ne-Yo writing and co-producing his debut single, GALLERY, Vazquez has also teamed up with top producer SCOTT STORCH and LESTER MENDEZ for tracks on the album. Vazquez auditioned for music mogul CLIVE DAVIS after the last American Idol season was over. Davis has signed Vasquez to BMG US.
