Dru Hill, the once chart-topping group that spawned hits like “These Are The Times,” “How Deep Is Your Love” and even the “Thong Song (Sisqo),” is set to get real personal on Monday’s premiere of their reality show “Platinum House”. “Platinum House,” helmed by R&B singer/Executive Producer Keith Sweat, will reportedly dive into never before discussed issues including admitted jealousy and hatred between group members including Sisqo and Nokio. According to a recent article in Atlanta’s Journal Constitution (AJC), Sisqo, often known for being the ‘wild child’ of the group in addition to his solo success with “The Thong Song” resents being deemed a one-hit wonder. Not only is Sisqo’s struggle covered, but group member and producer Nokio, who has worked with R&B singer Trey Songz in recent years, discusses his family related issues with psychologist Tim Levitas. According to Levitas, Nokio admits to dealing with the fact that his mother is gay and his father is an ex-drug dealer and drug addict. Speaking about the upcoming show, Nokio says there is “such an underlying air of like this weird admiration slash jealousy.” “It’s hard to sit in a person’s face and say ‘I really like what you do, but I hate you.'” Dru Hill’s ‘Platinum House’ is set to premiere on Atlanta’s Peachtree TV Monday, Feb. 23 with hopes to jump over to other networks like VH1, TV One or E! according to Keith Sweat.
