Stunning-looking and “strong-sounding” are words that critics and associated press writers have used to describe Whitney Houston’s triumphant return to the stage at a Pre-Grammy party honoring music legend, Clive Davis. Singing “I’ve got it, I’ve got it,” Whitney Houston rocked the house at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where she received a standing ovation from Faith Evans, Diddy, Jennifer Hudson, Chris Brown and many more. Houston, who will release a long-anticipated album later this year, performed hits like “I’m Every Woman” and “It’s Not Right, But It’s Okay” to cheers from the audience including those of actor/singer Jamie Foxx. “We all crossed our fingers that her beautiful story would end (happily),” said Jamie Foxx, who stood at the front of the stage and took video of Houston like he was just another fan in the crowd. “This is a new beginning.” “She was on it, she was happy â she’s back,” said Foxx. “Everybody else watch out.” Click Here to see photos from Saturday’s Pre-Grammy party including Whitney Houston and Jennifer Hudson’s well received performances.
