William Balfour, the man accused of killing three members of Grammy-nominated actress/singer Jennifer Hudson’s family in Chicago has pleaded not guilty to charges of first degree murder and home invasion. Balfour, also the estranged husband of Hudson’s sister, Julia, entered the not guilty plea in Cook County Criminal Court Tuesday. According to published reports, Balfour plead not guilty just after he nodded to family members sitting nearby in the court room. Balfour is being held without bail and is due in court Jan. 27.
