Whitney Houston and Jennifer Hudson seem to have one thing in common this year — their highly anticipated comebacks at Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy Party. While sources close to Davis revealed plans for Whitney Houston to perform at the bash last week, “Spotlight” singer Jennifer Hudson had not been mentioned. According to E!, Hudson may just be headed for the ultimate in diva throw downs as she is now rumored to be joining Clive Davis’ bill in addition to her already confirmed MusiCares performance. There’s no word as to if or when the two divas may do a duet, but fingers are crossed that there will be sort of a small duet although organizers say its unlikely to have the two powerhouse vocalists hit the stage at the same time. In related news, Whitney Houston was received with a standing ovation when she made a surprise appearance at BET’s 2nd Annual BET Honors Saturday. Houston, gearing up for a massive comeback effort, appeared simply ‘stunning’ and full of smiles while briefly sharing the stage with Tyler Perry.
