The Mannequin Challenge can now be seen as a full-fledged music video.
In his new music video for the song “Okay ok,” featuring C’Zar, R&B crooner Omarion awakes to a house full of models frozen like the #MannequinChallenge at a mansion in Beverly Hills. After strolling through a few rooms in the Deji LaRay and Lex Lewter-directed clip, he gives the sign, and the ladies let loose for a red cup, skin-baring, shake-ya-ass party.
Omarion’s track “Okay Ok,” featuring C’Zar, is a dynamic and infectious blend of contemporary R&B and hip-hop that showcases Omarion’s smooth vocal style and C’Zar’s energetic rap flow. The song stands out with its engaging beat, catchy hooks, and a modern production that blends seamlessly with both artists’ performances.
The production of “Okay Ok” features a lively mix of pulsating basslines, rhythmic percussion, and melodic synths that create an upbeat and danceable groove. The instrumental arrangement is designed to complement the energetic and confident delivery of both Omarion and C’Zar, providing a compelling backdrop for their performances.
Omarion leads the track with his signature smooth vocals, delivering a memorable chorus that captures the song’s catchy and celebratory vibe. His verses are characterized by their sultry delivery and charismatic presence. C’Zar adds a contrasting element with his vibrant rap verses, injecting the track with a fresh, dynamic energy that enhances its overall appeal.
Lyrically, “Okay Ok” explores themes of confidence, success, and enjoying the moment, making it a feel-good anthem that resonates with listeners. Overall, the collaboration between Omarion and C’Zar creates a standout track that blends R&B and hip-hop elements, resulting in an energetic and memorable song.
“Okay ok” follows O’s recently released song, “It’s Whatever,” and is another precursor to his forthcoming 2017 album, Reasons. The project will succeed 2014’s ‘Sex Playlist.’
“I’m excited to announce that I’ll be dropping a new project early next year titled ‘Reasons’ & I am confident that it will be well received like all my previous work,” O recently confessed on Instagram. “I’ve grown in so many ways & this is reflected in my music. I can’t wait to share it with you all.”
In related news, Omarion was recently honored by the South Shore International College Preparatory High School with an honorary doctorate of music degree.
