Marc Jacobs is incorporating more music into his fashion brand.
Last month, production duo BC Kingdom debuted their song “Hype Williams” at Jacob’s fashion show; and it’s all making sense now, because a music video directed by the famed director Hype Williams has surfaced for Marc Jacobs’ new fall line.
The music video is set to Man Friday’s “Love Honey, Love Heartache (Larry Levan Mix)” and features pieces form the Marc Jacobs fall collection. Missy Elliott is one celeb who’s serving face and fashion in the clip, along with Cara Delevingne, St. Vincent, model Kendall Jenner, actress Susan Sarandon, rockers Courtney Love and Marilyn Manson, and Sissy Spacek.
“In my mind, there is some kind of nonlinear connection between all of these people. They’re not one thing,” Jacobs told Billboard of his video stars. “They’re connected because you felt within a certain moment that all these things belong together.”
