Here’s a win for Faith Evans!
Earlier this month, it was reported that Atlanta promoter Jeremy Hill tried to sue Faith Evans for breach of contract for opting to jump on the Bad Boy Reunion Tour when it arrives in the ATL on Sept. 8th.
Hill said he booked Evans to perform at the Wolf Creek Amphitheater on Sept 10th and paid her $17.5k in advance to lock down the contract. Hill claims he heard through sources that Faith planned to do the Bad Boy show, which violates a “non-compete” clause in the contract that doesn’t allow Evans to perform within a 100-mile radius of his show during the six months leading up to Sept. 10th.
But an Atlanta court dropped the suit, allowing Evans to perform at the Atlanta stop of Bad Boy Reunion Tour on September 8th. In an email to EURweb, Faith’s attorneys confirmed Hill’s lawsuit has been “thwarted by the District Court for the Northern District of Georgia Atlanta Division,” and Hill has filed a temporary restraining order against Evans. They say Hill has replaced Evans by another act for his show.
