Rising Toronto crooner/producer/writer Pluto may have a stage name that suggests he’s far, far away, but his newest project Just 4 Now gets you up-close-and-personal with some solid R&B.
Dedicated as a treat to his growing fanbase, Just 4 Now boasts four-tracks of new heat, his powerful voice also sweetly cooing sweet, sexy somethings.
The set’s opening track “Tell Me” is full of textures and unpredictable elements like a tempo change and unexpected vocal crescendos of emotion. “Beauty In My Loneliness” is a slow jam that finds the positive side of a breakup by finding solace in other things; this one solidifies the conclusion that Pluto is no slouch on the vocals. “LA” picks up the tempo to praise a beautiful woman in Hollywood, and with a sample of Blackstreet’s “I Can’t Get Out Outta My Mind,” the set’s last track “Said So” wraps up the set on a sexy note as the project’s standout track.
Just 4 Now follows his debut project Jessica in 2014.
