Last Thursday (April 14th), John Legend and Chrissy Teigen welcomed their first child, a baby girl they named Luna Simone Stephens.
Teigen announced the news yesterday via social media. “She’s here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy,” Teigen wrote on Instagram with a picture of the baby’s weight (6 lbs., 11 oz.).
Legend tweeted, “Our new love is here! Luna Simone Stephens, born on Thursday, the 14th. We couldn’t be happier!”
This is huge news for the couple; not only is this their first child, but Teigen also revealed back in the Fall of 2015 that she struggled with infertility issues and had to undergo IVF treatments.
