Just hours after finding a weapon in the Jennifer Hudson related tragedy, TMZ uncovered arrest reports and other documents connecting the family to a drug raid just six years ago at the Hudson home. According to reports, Chicago police targeted Hudson’s brother Jason and George King the father of Hudson’s nephew for drug trafficking. Cops then raided the very home where the Academy Award-winning star’s brother and mother were murdered last week. According to documents, Jason, Gregory and Julia (Hudson’s sister) were all arrested. In an interview with Nancy Grace this week, the suspect or ‘person of interest’ William Balfour’s mother spoke very candidly about the Hudson families drug and gang related activities in an attempt to clear her sons name. (Video below) According to TMZ, police say Jason and Gregory were affiliated with the gang, Gangster Disciples – the same gang that William Balfour, the ‘person of interest’ was in. In related news, William Balfour has refused to take a lie-detector test according to officials Thursday. William Balfour, the 27-year-old stepfather of Hudson’s nephew and estranged husband of her sister, told detectives he had a good relationship with the Hudson family, the police official said Wednesday, speaking on condition of anonymity because the official was not authorized to discuss the case publicly. When detectives asked Balfour to take the polygraph test, he stopped cooperating and refused to take the test, said the official, who is familiar with the investigation.
