Introducing Atlanta-based, 18-year-old quadruple-threat Jayla Darden, who recently released the video for her latest single “Think About Us”. The track is self-produced with co-production from Justin “Henny” Henderson of multi-platinum, Grammy Award winning duo, Tha Bizness.
The track itself is a bouncy, mid-tempo R&B number, composed of a recurring vocal sample and prominent 808, as we see Jayla profess her feelings for her proposed love interest in this black-and-white Henny-directed clip.
As well as pursuing a career as a singer, the prodigious Detroit native is also a self-taught pianist and guitarist, who also writes and produces the majority of her own material. This unrivalled passion to take full control of as many aspects of her product as possible is something sure to set her apart amongst the current new wave of emerging R&B artists.
