As we await his full-length album The Truth this summer, Mishon has been dropping #NewMusicMonday tunes like “The Truth,” “Ordinary Love,” and “Lessons.” Now he’s liberated a surprise EP called The Lost Files, presumably seven tracks of unreleased material he’s been keeping in the vault.
If listened to straight through, the EP tells the story of a situationship, from “One Night Stand” to “No Titles,” and everything in between. One of the stand out tracks is the cover of “Slow Jam” ft. Dondria, a nod to Usher and Monica’s 1997 version of Atlantic Starr’s 1983 hit. The EP acts as a reminder that Mishon is one of underrated the most male vocalists out right now, and he’s coming for your attention.
