Jae Franklin offers up her debut single “Higher,” the first track to her upcoming 2016 album Cheers To Life.
On the song, The Houston-native injects your ears with passion as she requests to be taken to new heights over the driving groove.
The clip features two free-spirited young women who live in an eclectic house in the dessert decorated with spiritual symbols; they reflect and write their desires and feelings, attach them to balloons and release them to wherever the wind takes them.
Jae toured as a background vocalist for Grammy Award-winner Melanie Fiona and eventually began performing at a host of reputable venues across the world as a solo artist. Jae is inspired by legends like Angelique Kidjo, Jamiroquai, Stevie Wonder, and Sade. It’s no wonder her music sounds the way it does!
“Higher” follows Jae’s previous release “Music & Love”.
