For her latest single “Enemiez” featuring Jeremih, KeKe Palmer takes the action up a notch.
On the danceable tune, Keke prefers to be enemies because as they say: You gotta keep your enemies closer. “And if we’re just friends, I’d rather be your enemy / So we can do all the things you’re holding back from me,” they sing on the chorus. Jeremih replies with seductive lyrics “I can make you come alive,” he sings.
The video is somewhat of a Romeo and Juliet saga: Keke is in love with the leader of another gang, but she’s pressured by her squad to go after him. Will she succumb to the pressure?
