In what may become the biggest December to date in terms of Hip Hop album releases, Jay-Z joins Kanye West, 50 Cent and possibly Eminem with the release of ‘Blueprint 3′ on December 2nd! By inking Dec. 2 Jay-Z gets a head start against his competition and kicks off a month full of releases that includes 50 Cent’s “Before I Self Destruct, out Dec.9; Kanye West’s “808’s & Heartbreak,” out Dec.16; and Eminem’s comeback album which does not have a date set at this time. According to a Transworld News report, Blueprint 3 is about 90% produced by West and will feature the single “Jockin’ Jay-Z” and “Swagga Like Us,” which features T.I., Lil’ Wayne and West. The song is also featured on T.I.’s new album Paper Trail. In addition to the original “Swagga Like Us,” it has been reported that there will be a remix for the hit song, which will feature Jay-Z, Nas, Andre 3000 and Young Jeezy. In related news, Jay-Z has teamed up with chart topping rock band Coldplay for a remix of their new single according to frontman Chris Martin who addressed fans via the group’s official website: “..in a few weeks we are going to release a version of Lost! Which has a guest experience on it in the form of Jay-Z.” Martin also announced another upcoming Coldplay project entitled “Prospekt’s March” that they are going to record in November. The new album features eight songs that were not finished in March – their deadline for the chart topping album Viva La Vida. The Blueprint 3, Jay-Z’s 10th album, will be his final album under his Def Jam contract before he begins recording under the record label, Live Nation. Source: Transworld News
