Newcomer Halley Hiatt drops off her new single “To Die Alone” for your listening pleasure.
Produced by Beatsme and MP Williams, the song (which features rapper Denzil Porter) is a song about “the intensity of love and the power it holds over us,” says Halley. It’s a moody and intense song with dark production and simple, straightforward lyrics over boom-bap back beat.
The video plays out the “intensity” that which Halley speaks of: Knowing her lover is cheating on her, Halley nonchalantly enters a bar and passes a note to the bartender who makes a quick call. What happens next is deadly.
“To Die Alone” is the first track from her upcoming, independent debut EP, Retrograde.
