Angie Stone came back full circle when she released her new album Dream in early November. The album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop charts and No. 5 on the Independent Albums chart. So as you can see, Angie hasn't lost her touch in music!

The Grammy-nominated singer stayed true to her musical roots, contemporary R&B and classic soul music. However on Dream, Stone informs her listeners about the truths of pain, loss, love, and faith using the following P's: PAIN, then the PROCESS to get to the PROMISE with the help from PRODUCER, Walter W. Millsap III.

In a press release, Stone says,"This is the dream album… someone had to speak my language for me, Walter is the ultimate producer, and he had to speak a language that I was able to speak with…. someone who could speak when I was speechless. I am coming back stronger than ever."

The South Carolina-native continues to establish a connection with her fans through her music based on her personal experiences with love and relationships. Songs like "Magnet," "Quits," "2 Bad Habits," and "Begin Again," a duet with Dave Hollister, mentions the highs and lows of being in a relationship. In the most elegant and frank way, Stone informs her fans when it's time to call it quits on a relationship, hold on to God's unchanging hand, or omit the baggage out of your life.

The records on Angie's Dream is considered to be a motivational platform for listeners because the music is soulful, frankness, dexterity, and so authentic. Stone's voice alone nourishes your soul, and she shares her journey to inner peace and salvation.

Stone says, "I'm a stone cold survivor; I'm still standing. At the end of the day, I am a real singer with real issues with a real God and keeping it real."

Based on this album, Stone's artistic journey continues to evolve because her music is relatable to people. She is the ultimate music survivor. Her career spans over three decades, and there's still more to come from the R&B singer.
