Yesterday (Nov. 23), legendary powerhouse Patti LaBelle sat down with the hosts of The Breakfast Club to discuss the success of her recipe of sweet potato pies sold at Walmart made popular by singer James Wright, who gave a rave review on Youtube.
She also discussed her 45+ year career and her appearance on Oprah’s Masterclass (airing on OWN, Sunday 8pm EST) and addressed the time a few months ago when she kicked a fan off stage for being risqué. “I think he got carried away, he didn’t mean it,” she replied.
When asked if she would ever collab with a new artist, in particular Fetty Wap, she replied, “Of course, that boy with the one eye? I love him, he gangster! I love his look!”
Gotta love Ms. LaBelle, honey!
