It’s been rumored that Beyonce reached out to Adele to collab together, and Adele turned down the offer.
But in a new interview with Zane Lowe of Beats 1, Adele reveals that she never received an invitation to work with Bey, and the rumor couldn’t be further from the truth.
“There’s a rumor going round that I turned Beyoncé down. Which I would never be so disrespectful as to do. I’d never disrespect her like that,” she shared. “Obviously, like, Queen B ’til the day I die,” she said, insinuating she’s a part of the Beyhive, herself.
Adele’s album 25 is due out on Friday, Nov. 20th. It's headed by the chart-busting single "Hello."
