For years, various people have wanted to get their hands on Aaliyah's unreleased music (and some were successful, i.e. Drake, Chris Brown). Timbaland was one of the main producers that worked with the singer extensively, but he laid low when others attempted to use her unreleased music — until now.
Over the weekend, the mega producer revealed on Instagram that he's planning on dropping some never-before heard tunes from the late star.
“Attention!!!!! People ask me all the time do I have any babegirl music we haven't heard !!!!!well the answer is YES!!!!!!!! TIMBO x BABEGIRL !!!!! Sneak peak coming !!!!!!!” he captioned with a picture of Aaliyah’s face surrounded by clouds.
He then posted a photo of the singer with the censor sticker logo that reads “Straight Outta Heaven” and the caption “Stay tune!!!!!!”
This is great news for her fans! Timbo knew Aaliyah well and had a great relationship with her, so anything he releases MUST be legit and at the approval of her family.
