The lyric video for Janet Jackson's new single "No Sleeep" has arrived!
Produced by long-time collaborators Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, the simple, sultry soul of “No Sleeep” is SO Janet, solidifying that her return is strong and authentic. On the seductive groove, Janet plans to be up all night: “I’m missing you, you missing me / Whenever we meet, we ain’t gonna get no sleep,” she softly coos.
The clip features brief images of Janet and Jimmy Jam as they vibe in the recording studio, the lyric sheet guides the song along.
Janet's upcoming album is rumored to be titled Conversations in a Cafe and reportedly will be released around Christmas (November/December) via her own label Rhythm Nation Records. She's set to kick off her “Unbreakable World Tour” on August 31 in Vancouver.
