It’s been over a decade since Nicole and Natalie of Nina Sky burst on the scene with the dancehall-inspired single, “Move Ya Body.” Now, the twins are back with a forthcoming project titled Brightest Gold, headed by the single called “Forever.”
The tune is a break from the groovy R&B sound they’re known for; rather the duo aims to evolve in their craft. They tell The FADER, “Spaceplant finessed the verses with a modern ’90s freestyle beat pattern and built up the hook just enough that the song still has its original sweet vibe but if you drop it at the right time in a club, it will still go off!”
Brightest Gold is due in September.
