John Legend and Miguel have a major collaboration coming our way soon.
Legend's Get Lifted Film company will produce an untitled musical romantic drama and "Adorn" hit-maker Miguel is in talks for the leading role.
Once the ink dries, Miguel would "star in the film as a former one-hit wonder who regains his love for music when he is hired to coach an aspiring singer for her audition on a singing competition show."
According to Variety, The film, which begins production in September in Philadelphia, will be produced in partnership with Furst Films and IM Global. Legend will produce alongside his Get Lifted partner Mike Jackson and Furst Film principals Sean and Bryan Furst.
The film was scripted by Taylor Cohen and Nabil Elderkin, who shot music videos for Legend and Frank Ocean, will make his feature film directorial debut.
