After revealing the cover earlier this week, Ciara’s now revealed the release date for her sixth studio album Jackie; in one month, on May 4, Jackie will arrive.
The opus is named after her mother and headed by the single “I Bet” which chronicles her painful break up with ex-fiance, rapper Future, with whom they share a 10-month-old son, Future Zahir.
“I can now see the world through her eyes, and I know what it’s like to be a mom,” she told Extra about her upcoming album, which is named after her mom. "I am a mini Jackie and it’s that simple."
The news of the release date comes on the heels of the tour announcement. Ciara will hit the road as soon as the LP drops in early May. Check the dates and venues below.
