L.A. traffic can make a sane person go crazy, so it helps when you have a passenger, especially when it’s an international superstar.
New Late Late Show host James Corden was blessed with the company of Mariah Carey while driving to work on Wednesday, and he took full advantage of the joyride.
The sneaky English actor, comedian, singer, writer, producer, and TV host turned on the radio, which was already preset with some of Carey’s hits and after some resistance and a few fist blow ups, he got the R&B diva to join him in a sing-along.
“I know your act,” says Carey when the first song, “Always Be My Baby,” began playing, which prompt Corden’s response, “It’s a new car, so I don’t how to change the radio station.”
After a segment of Carey and Corden both trying to speak in each other’s accent (New York and British), they went on to the next hit, “Fantasy,” featuring the late Ol Dirty Bastard, and Corden new all the words.
The two also added a little flirting to their karaoke moment.
"You're so hot. Stop it," Corden told Carey after she took off her sunglasses and gave him a sideways glance and a smile. "I'm a married man. You've gotta stop what you're doing, cause I know exactly what you're doing. I see through it. I read you like a book."
The 18 number ones star also joined Corden on “Vision of Love” and “Thirsty.”
Funners!
In related news, looks like Carey re-injured her right arm. She was spotted rocking a sling yesterday (Mar. 25).
