“She’s yoooouuuur queeeeeen to beeeeeeee!!!!”
Last night (Sept 11), Alicia Keys threw an opulent birthday bash for her husband Swizz Beatz’s 36th birthday (which is actually on Sept 13) in the theme of the 1988 comedy classic, Coming To America.
Held at the classy venue Capitale NYC, Keys surprised Beatz with the extravagant bash, which featured an entrance from a pregnant Alicia after a grand introduction of African dancers. Beatz sat perched atop the stage on his throne surrounded by his family, much like Eddie Murphy’s character Prince Hakeem did in the film.
"My wife is awesome thx my love for the best Bday party everrrrrrrrrerr #comingtoamerica party #virgoseason," Swizz shared.
The guest list of attendees was star-studded: Carmelo and La La Anthony, DMX, Diddy, Naomi Campbell…even Swizz’s ex-wife Mashonda attended.
