Brandy is doing some dabbling in the Gospel world.
The veteran R&B singer-songwriter will join Kirk Franklin's The Walls Group on a new inspirational gospel track entitled, “God On My Mind.”
Below is a 30-second snippet that already has fans in feening in overdrive. The track includes a vocal sample of Brandy's Always On My Mind from her 1994 debut LP.
The song will appear on The Walls Group’s new album, Fast Forward, and will be available for purchase on September 2, 2014 via iTunes and in-stores.
In related news, The Walls Group isn’t the only artist showing Brandy love. In a recent interview, Ariana Grande gave B-Rocka some huge shouts, insisting she is “obsessed” with her voice.
“I'm obsessed with the sweetness of her voice and I love her songs,” said Grande. “Her runs are also incredibly on point. Nothing excites me more than an extraordinarily precise run. I also met her once and she was just as sweet as can be. As you can imagine, I've watched the "Cinderella" with Whitney and Brandy a million times!”
