Former 702 lead singer Meelah has been laying the groundwork for her solo debut album for the last two years. Now receiving national exposure as one of the newest cast members of "R&B Divas: Atlanta," she takes advantage of her buzz by releasing the new single “Give It to You,” a duet with Musiq Soulchild. Known as the standout voice behind hits like “Where My Girls At” and “Get It Together,” fans continue to demand the songstress’s velvety cadence as she secures the top spot on Singersroom’s Top 10 Most Streamed Independent Singles of the week.
Chi-Town newcomer Tink, who has already been swooped up by Timbaland as his next big project, moves up one spot to take the runner-up position. She teams with fellow Chicagoan Jeremih on “Don’t Tell Nobody,” a feisty record that sees her giving a cheating beau an aggressive verbal scolding.
Danity Kane’s late entry with “Lemonade,” their official comeback single featuring rapper Tyga, takes the third position on Singersroom’s Top 10 Most Streamed Independent Singles of the week. Produced by The Stereotypes (“Damaged”), the urban-tinged track "Lemonade" samples The Clipse's, choppy percussion of the Neptune’s-produced "Grindin."
