The Singersroom sponsored R&B Spotlight will make its DC debut on Sunday August 11, 2013 at The Howard Theatre in Washington, DC.
As we continue to support Grassroots talents, RnB Spotlight pledges to celebrate the melodic sounds of your favorite national and local R&B talents. Helping to kick off the DC launch will be vetern singers RL (Next), Meelah (Former lead singer of 702) and "Bad" (frontman Nokio of Dru Hill).
“We hope that by inviting national acts, we’ll inspire up and coming artists to pursue their dreams,” states event producer Cory Taylor.
Over the years, Chart-topping superstars have headlined RnB Spotlight including Carl Thomas, R.L. of 90’s R&B group, Next; Meelah of 702, Kenny Lattimore, Sunshine Anderson, Musiq Soulchild, Marsha Ambrosius, Mario Winans, and Sisqo, lead singer of multi-platinum group Dru Hill.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. show starts at 8 p.m.
