While Mariah Carey recovers from injuries from a fall she took while filming the remix video for “#Beautiful” ft. Young Jeezy, she took some time to leave a voice recording to update her lambs on the status of her recovery and new music.
Samantha, her physical therapist, got on the recording to give her professional description of MC’s status: “If people could actually see it they’d understand the severity of what’s going on…despite that, she’s recovering nicely…but if any of you know what an injury is, it’s a long road to recovery. We’re dealing right now with a dislocated shoulder, a fractured rib, nerve injuries…”
Despite the injuries, Mariah is still hard at work putting the final touches on the new album The Art Of Letting Go, and she says the editing for the video for “#Beautiful” (Remix) ft. Young Jeezy is underway. Also, coming is the recording of her Central Park performance of “#Beautiful.” She even played a snippet of “a hot new dance remix that is coming your way very very soon.”
