R&B singer Kelly Rowlandâs headlining performance at the Great American Gay Day 2008 last Friday was abruptly interrupted when she narrowly missed being hit by a fan’s hat. The âDilemmaâ star was midway through her set at the California event when one eventgoer threw their white hat at the stage – almost hitting Rowland in the face. The backing music came to halt as she called out to the crowd to identify the assailant – before making him apologize for his actions. In video footage obtained by website TMZ.com, she can be heard saying: “Who threw that up here? Come to the front, come to the front.” The fan quickly apologized and Rowland handed back the hat before resuming her performance.
