Prince Jackson says his father, the late Michael Jackson, was reduced to tears after a heated conversation with concert promoters behind his ill-fated concert series, "This Is It."
Appearing in court Wednesday, Prince said his father once told him "They're going to kill me" after having a tense conversation, where he had requested more time to rehearse for the London based series.
While he did not elaborate any further, the 16-year-old pointed to the fact that his father was unhappy in his final days, plagued by pressure from the promoters. He also testified about the last time he saw his father.
"Prince testified that he saw Murray performing CPR on his father, who was hanging halfway off a bed. It appeared his dad's eyes were rolled up in the back of his head, Prince told jurors," Billboard reports. "Prince's eyes appeared red as he recalled being told by Murray at a hospital that his father was dead. Prince said he never saw Murray's treatments of his father."
"I was 12. To my understanding he was supposed to make sure my dad stayed healthy," he shared with the court.
Prince, Blanket and Paris Jackson are all plaintiffs in an ongoing case against AEG.
