Over the past several weeks, YMCB artist Shanell has placed the spotlight on her vocals by releasing covers of her favorite throwbacks songs, including "I Wanna Sex You Up," "I Don't Wanna," and "Don't Walk Away." Now that she is gaining momentum with new fans, Shanell dropped two orginal songs – "Dedicated" & "Catch Me At the Light." "Dedicated" takes a moment to shout out Shanell's newest love interest, while "Catch Me At the Light" finds Shanell hollering at the dudes with the fly rides.
The release of the new records accompany Shanell hitting the road to perform in the midwest and southern United States cities. Then starting in July, she will join Lil Wayne on the 'America's Mosted Wanted' tour.
The two new songs will be placed on Midnight Mimosas. The EP release date has been set for Tuesday June 4, 2013.
