The last album we heard from Mario was D.N.A, which was released about five years ago and debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 chart, led by the single "Break-Up". Due to the break between projects, it was a surprise when Mario reemerged with his "Somebody Else" single featuring Nicki Minaj this week.
He accompanied the release of the record with a personal note to fans. "Nothing can explain the excitement in my heart at this point & time in my life. I have changed so much as a man, artist, & creator, and I realize more and more everyday that it’s not about me. It’s about me doing what GOD wants me to do; change the world with my GIFT."
Mario is now ready to push his career forward, he a hopes to raise the bar for the R&B genre. "I hope this new song breathes new life into R&B and where I’m gonna take it!"
The record will premiere so, but the statement proves he is back!
