Alicia Keys is busy enjoying life right now and possibly enjoying âthe last laugh.â The âTeenage Love Affairâ singer reportedly just signed a $25 million deal with Vitamin Water! The new deal according to reports will be revealed next week however, very ironic considering 50 Centâs $400 million relationship with Vitamin Water (2007) and his recent comments calling Keysâ out on her recent interview with Blender Magazine. As previously reported on Singersroom, the singer fired back at Blenderâs conspiracy mishap stating âMy comments about ‘gangsta rap’ were in no way trying to suggest that the government is responsible for creating this genre of rap music. The point that I was trying to make was that the term was over-sloganized by some of the media causing reactions that were not always positive. Many of the ‘gangsta rap’ lyrics articulate the problems of the artists’ experiences and I think all of us, including our leaders, could be doing more to address these problems including drugs, gang violence, crime, and other related social issues.â Despite Keysâ statement 50 Cent insisted âIf she don’t like that (âgangsta rapâ), (then) I don’t like that classical music sh*t- she be doing. At some point she’s playing some sh*t that don’t relate to me. … We listen to it and try to figure out why people actually enjoy it.â The âNo Oneâ hitmaker is expected to become the new face of the beverage companyâs health-conscious products later this year.
