The “R&B Avengers” (as Tyrese puts it) are coming to the rescue! In a promotional video as an official group, Tyrese, Ginuwine, and Tank talk about joining forces for their 2013 LP. The trio signs their Atlantic Records contracts, pump iron together, dine together, and joke around, ultimately showing their genuine friendship in the video.
“There’s a lot of people that don’t understand [that] we represent grown aâ men that are really friends.[…]We’re gonna get it for the ladies. We’re gonna remind you why you fell in love with true R&B in the first place,” Tyrese said.
Tank added, “It’s about bringing that real thing back. Real men. Real singing. Real love. Anything associated with the Temptations, the O’Jays, Marvin Gaye, Teddy Pendergrass…”
