Bobby V acknowledges that Hip Hop’s dominance in music has shrunk the presence of R&B, but he believes real singing will never die. “Even though rap is dominant right now, people still need that soundtrack in there life that they wanna hear when they’re with that special person, & Dusk Till Dawn is it,” said Bobby V.
As the CEO of his independent record label Blu Kolla, the “Mirror” singer has set October 16th, 2012 as the release date for his upcoming effort ‘Dusk Til Dawn,’ the second album dropping via his imprint.
With the retail date slightly over a month away, Bobby V liberated the fiery artwork for the cover of the album.
The album is expected to feature guest collaborations with Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s K. Michelle, and rappers Future, Gucci Mane, Red Cafe, Cassidy and the Lil Wayne, who is featured on the lead single “Mirror.”
