Music publishing company BMI will hold its second annual âHow I Wrote the Songâ panel Saturday, February 9th at the Key Club in L.A. The seminar offers attendees an inside look at the creative process of hit songs and key information on the business of songwriting and the music industry. The panelist include established hitmakers Sean Garrett , Dallas Austin, Rodney Jerkins, Polow Da Don, Anthony Hamilton, and others; whom will discuss the individual work and creative process. It will be moderated by BMIâs Vice President, Writer Publisher Relations Catherine Brewton and Los Angeles Times music critic Ann Powers; the event is open to the public. Advance tickets are available now for $10 through Ticketmaster or at the Key Club box office; day-of admission at the door will be $20.
