Keri Hilson is back in the lab, working on her third studio album, the follow-up to her 2009 debut ‘In a Perfect World…’ and 2010’s ‘No Boys Allowed.’ The “Pretty Girl Rock” singer says the forthcoming effort will fall between her first two releases, but the project will also showcase her new experimental sound.

“I’m working on a new sound,” Hilson told The BoomBox. “I just love to challenge myself. My first two albums to me were incredible. They were a moment in time. ‘In A Perfect World’ was very emotional and tapped into how I was feeling at the time. And my last album, ‘No Boys Allowed,’ that’s how I was feeling at the time as well [laughs]. I was being very territorial, very instructional on how to become a man and what we deserved and demanded as women. The new music has kind of both sides: very emotional, but I’ve also gone through some hurt in the past couple of years. I’ll be explaining some things.”

Between recording the project, Hilson has also been taking some downtime to better her relationships with the people close to her.

“I’ve just been in the studio,” she adds. “I’ve also taken a step back from taking so many shows and accepting every single offer. I wanted to live and experience new things. That’s what I really like to do between every single album. Just take a few months off and live life. I thought it was important to allow my home family and personal relationships to flourish again. Because you can lose a lot of that…you miss a lot of things.”

No release date or time frame has been scheduled for Hilson’s upcoming release.

Keri Hilson is the latest in a long line of musical icons. For more than a decade, she has been crafting music that speaks to our hearts and souls. Now, after taking some time away from the spotlight, Keri is back with plans for her next album – an emotionally charged collection of songs that promises to capture listeners’ attention like never before. In this article, we will explore what makes Keri’s upcoming work so special, and why fans can’t wait to hear it.

The Grammy-nominated singer first came onto the scene in 2007 with her hit single “Energy.” Since then, she has released three studio albums: In A Perfect World… (2009), No Boys Allowed (2010) and L.I.A.R (2016). Each record reflects a unique side of Keri’s dynamic artistry and creative expression. But now, as she prepares to return to the music business after a four year hiatus, something different can be felt in the air surrounding her new project – something emotional and powerful beyond words.

In recent interviews about her forthcoming release, Keri has revealed that this album is all about exploring human emotion on tracks written from life experience rather than fantasy or fiction. She wants people to feel connected through shared stories told across beats and bars that are both familiar yet utterly new at once. With such lofty ambitions set for herself, one thing is for sure: there’s no telling what kind of masterpiece awaits us when Keri finally unveils her fourth full length offering later this year!

Overview Of Keri Hilson’s Career

Keri Hilson has had a long and successful career in the music industry. She broke onto the scene with her debut album In A Perfect World… back in 2009, which was an instant hit among fans and critics alike. The Grammy-nominated artist then followed that up with No Boys Allowed (2011), and L.I.A.R (2016). Her singles such as “Knock You Down”, “Pretty Girl Rock”, and “The Way I Are” have all been wildly popular, making her one of the most recognizable female R&B singers today.

Recently, Keri has announced she is working on new music for an upcoming album, saying it will be much more emotional than her past work. Fans are eagerly awaiting its release to see what this new direction holds for the singer-songwriter. However, despite taking a bit of time away from recording full albums she hasn’t completely stepped out of the spotlight – recently appearing on tracks by rappers Wale (“Love & War”) and G Eazy (“Love Is Gone”).

It’s clear that Keri Hilson still has plenty left to offer when it comes to creating amazing music after over 10 years since her first release; we can only hope that her recent foray into more emotionally driven music translates just as well as her previous projects have done so far.

Update On Upcoming Album

The anticipation is high as Keri Hilson moves forward with her new album. She has revealed that the upcoming project will be emotionally charged, which should come as no surprise to fans familiar with her music. The singer-songwriter has always put a strong emphasis on conveying emotion in her songs – whether it’s joy and optimism or sorrow and despair. Now, she’s aiming for something even more personal than what listeners have heard before from her.

To achieve this goal, Keri is taking extra time to carefully craft each song so they accurately reflect the emotions she wants to express in them. In an interview earlier this year, she mentioned that some of the tracks are “really dark” but also have moments of clarity; ultimately creating an overall optimistic vibe throughout the record. This balance between darkness and hope seems to perfectly capture everything we know about Keri’s artistry thus far: she takes us into bittersweet places while giving us a reason to keep going despite life’s struggles.

It remains unclear when exactly this album might be released, but one thing is certain – whatever comes out of it will surely be another memorable addition to Keri Hilson’s impressive discography. We can’t wait to hear what she’s been working on!

Conclusion

Keri Hilson is an incredible artist and her work continues to evolve. Her upcoming album will be a reflection of the emotional journey she has been on over the past few years. She’s taking time to write music that reflects this experience, making sure each song really speaks from her heart.

It’s clear that Keri has an immense amount of talent and passion for her craft which makes me even more excited to hear what she releases next. I’m confident in saying there’ll be something special here – a truly unique sound crafted by someone who knows exactly how they want it to feel.

I can’t wait until we get to hear Keri’s new material! It’ll definitely be worth the wait because if there’s one thing we know about Keri Hilson, it’s that she never disappoints when creating music that moves us emotionally.
