Rising California singer Alori Joh, known for her collaborations with bubbling Hip Hop stars Kendrick Lamar, SchoolBoy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, passed at the young age of 25.
Singersroom initially featured Joh’s talents with the release of “Happy Medium,” a record featuring SchoolBoy Q, which was set to appear on her album entitled ‘The Love Religion.’
By the early age of seven, Joh showed signs that she would pursue a career in entertainment as she sung Tina Turner’s records with her family. By the time she completed high school, she was featured on national televised shows Soul Train and Electrical Parade. Recently she made an impact singing the chorus on Kendrick Lamar’s popular single “HiiiPower” and Schoolboy Q’s “Phenomenon.”
An outpouring from her west coast music counterparts and fans filled Twitter’s timeline when news of her death was announced.
