Veteran R&B group SWV (Sisters With Voices) will release their brand new album “I Missed Us,’ on April 10, 2012 via eOne Music / Mass Appeal Entertainment. The set is led by the first single “Co-Sign,” produced by Lamb (Beyonce, Jazmine Sullivan, Missy Elliott, Monica, etc.).
“It’s a great feeling to be back recording together again! Something special always happens when we come together,” says members Coko, Lelee and Taj.
‘I Missed Us,’ the group’s first album in over a decade, will feature production from Bryan M. Cox and Jazze Pha.
SWV released its debut album “It’s About Time” in 1992. The album went multi-platinum and spawned a string of top ten R&B hits including “I’m So Into You,” “Right Here,” “Downtown,” “Weak” and “You’re Always On My Mind.” The group’s sophomore effort, “New Beginning,” went double platinum, while the trio’s third album, “Release Some Tension” went platinum.
Along with the forthcoming effort and a planned tour, SWV is also in development to star in their very own documentary series that will highlight their previous success, their breakup, return to music, the rebuilding of their relationships, as well as the groups desire to inspire other women to follow their dreams.

All these incredible songs make fans even more excited to hear what new sound they can expect from I Missed Us.
The group recently shared snippets of three tracks off of their upcoming album: “Still” featuring Snoop Dogg; “Lie Under You”; and “Ain’t No Man”, which is sure to be an instant classic. We cannot wait until April when we can all enjoy this masterpiece by our beloved SWV!
History Of Swv
SWV has been around for decades, making music that’s inspired generations. Since their debut album It’s About Time in 1992, they’ve released four more albums and countless singles, with hits like “Weak” and “You’re the One.” They’ve earned five Grammy nominations, won numerous awards, and have become an iconic R&B group.
Their time apart hasn’t stopped them from continuing to make music; in fact, it may have only made them stronger. SWV reunited in 2005 after a decade-long hiatus and continued to record together until 2013 when they decided to take another break. During this period of rest and rejuvenation, each member pursued solo projects while remaining close friends behind the scenes.
Now they are back with a new album titled I Missed Us due out in April 2021 – just in time for their 30th anniversary as a group! Fans can expect all the classic elements of SWV – beautiful harmonies woven throughout soulful beats – combined with more mature lyrics that reflect on life’s ups and downs since their last release. This will be sure to bring joy to longtime listeners who missed hearing the trio come together again on stage and on record.
Details Of ‘I Missed Us’ Release
Now, after all these years, SWV is finally giving their fans what they’ve been waiting for: a brand new album! I Missed Us will be the group’s first full-length release in over eight years and is set to come out on April 30th.
The trio has already released two singles from the project – “Still” and “Ain’t No Man” – which were both well received by fans. Both tracks feature soulful melodies tied together with intricate harmonies that perfectly capture the sound people have grown to love about SWV. The lyrics also touch on topics like friendship, family, and overcoming obstacles while celebrating life’s milestones.
The anticipation surrounding this project is truly undeniable as fans are eager to hear more from this talented trio. With an incredible amount of support behind them, SWV looks primed for another successful run with their upcoming album release.
